My name is Lilac (they/them). I’m a gender non-conforming journalist and marketing coordinator. Lilac affirms myself and others to be practice youthfulness and purity. My main career goals are balancing narrative film directing and creative direction.
Since pausing my parents’ big-back TV in 2005 to teach myself illustration from animation frames, I’ve loved film and storytelling. Since the first film I ever saw, Kiki’s Delivery Service (1989), I was inspired to be a storyteller and evoke vivid wonder, affirmation, and optimism through multimedia. Since I built my life around multimedia and design, I’ll do what the kid in me always wanted by shaping emotion through art.
